Microwave Bistatic Sensors PIDS is a fence mounted sensor that detects any form of intrusion from the perimeter, allowing critical time for security teams to respond to unauthorised intrusions. The system is commonly installed around sensitive or high-risk area including industrial facilities, airports, sites of force structure, power plants and private premises.

Meanwhile, the Microwave Monostatic Sensors are designed for the protection of separate perimeters sectors where it is difficult or impossible to use Bistatic sensors, which some examples being: blind streets, marshlands, ravines, communication passengers over the fence, stock areas, tunnels, overpasses and viaducts.

The Vibration Sensor Technology includes wire mesh fencing provides an early warning signs of attempts to cut, climb or vandalise the fence onto which they are mounted and provides critical time for security teams to respond to any intrusion.

The Dual Technology Sensors are used for the protection of long perimeter sectors with high requirements for any potential false alarms. These include a high immunity to industry, natural, and common interference.

Features of the System

The Microwave Bistatic Sensors PIDS based on generation of an invisible volumetric detection zone between the transmitter and the receiver. When the intruder is crossing the detection zone, the receiver register its alteration and generates the alarm.

The Microwave Bistatic Sensors PIDS features High detection probability, Good interference immunity, Easy to mount & adjust, Immune to the influence of rain, snow, fog, lighting, icing, solar radiation electromagnetic field up to 500kV, Support RS-485 & USB interface.

The Microwave Monostatic Sensors PIDS has one electronic unit containing the transceiver. The sensor transmitter radiates the linear frequency modulated signal. The sensor receiver registers the level of signal received. In case there are moving objects in the detection zone the receiver registers the alteration of the signal received and generates the alarm. The sensor work on the Doppler effect.

The Dual Technology Sensors achieved the high interference immunity of the sensor thanks to the combination of two different physical principles of operation – bistatic (monostatic) microwave (MW) and active (passive) infrared (IR) 2 ways
of intrusion detection.
