UVSS
Under Vehicle Surveillance System, or the abbreviation UVSS, is especially tailored to scan and digitally record clear video images of the entire width of a passing vehicle’s undersides, including reading alphabets, numbers or unique characters.
Handheld mirrors provide limited visibility, showing the examiner a minor aspect of the image. These traditional methods are slow as security personnel have to manually record vehicle license plate numbers which may potentially cause human error.
UVSS is an ideal set up at any crucial entry points or wherever complete vehicle monitoring is required such as airports, train stations, and government buildings.
Features of the System
Customised lenses with excellent imaging clarity and optical lenses designed for image distortion correction, yielding natural, accurate imaging.
The speed matching module synchronizes the scanning speed with the vehicle moving speed, minimizing the distortion of
the scan result.
Integrated vehicle information, with support searching by
license plate or time etc.
Vehicle watch list is included and updated, along with video search / VCA search for related cameras.
Automatic comparison of the undercarriage correlates with reference images.
Wide FOV provides no hidden angle, no matter the size of the vehicle.
Use of video analytics detector – zero physical device required to detect any vehicular presences.
Inspections may easily be conducted, regardless of the time in the day or night.
Supports Fixed UVSS and Portable UVSS.
Tags any suspicious plate number(s) for later retrieval and identifies multiple suspicious areas with specific pictures for eventual investigation.
